MGM Grand’s Crazy Horse Paris Welcomes Silver Screen Siren Carmen Electra To The Cabaret Stage
Electra to perform a limited engagement July 8-13.
MGM Grand’s Crazy Horse Paris is proud to announce a week-long guest-star engagement by actress, model and international sex symbol Carmen Electra. Electra will be the second celebrity to perform with the ensemble on the Crazy Horse Paris stage in Las Vegas, following only Dita Von Teese.
Electra is set to kick off her guest-star appearance Wednesday, July 8 and will appear nightly through Monday, July 13 in both the 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. performances. Electra will showcase her dance ability and naturally sexy style in three acts. She will appear in a lesson on eroticism, also known as “Leçon D’Érotisme,” a riveting and entrancing performance entitled “Chain Gang” and an ensemble number, “Étoile de Paris.”
“I am excited to perform in ‘Crazy Horse Paris’ at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas,” said Electra. “It is such an iconic show and I was in awe after seeing it for the first time. The dancers and the performances are so sensual and sexy that I knew I wanted to perform with the illustrious dance troupe and be part of Crazy Horse Paris history.”
Electra is no stranger to the performing arts. She studied dance at a young age and was discovered by musical legend Prince at the age of 18. Her fame escalated with a role in the television series “Baywatch,” as the co-host of MTV’s “Singled Out,” and most recently in movies such as “Meet the Spartans,” “Epic Movie” and “Scary Movie,” to name a few. Electra has graced the covers of many magazines and has been named one of the sexiest women in the world by publications including FHM Magazine, Stuff and Playboy. In addition to being an international sex symbol, Electra also is an entrepreneur with the 2008 release of her aerobics video entitled “Carmen Electra Aerobic Striptease.” For more information on Carmen Electra, visit www.carmenelectra.com.
Since its inception in 1951 in Paris, Crazy Horse has been a cultural phenomenon offering unique shows that engage the eye as much as the imagination. Crazy Horse Paris shows rely on raw body talent and beauty rather than technology and combine sensuous choreography with various luminary and projection effects to create a moving canvas of skin, where reflections and images meet in a kaleidoscope of colors and textured designs.
MGM Grand’s Crazy Horse Paris performs nightly at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., dark Tuesdays. Guests must be at least 18 years of age to attend the show.
