Saxe Theater To Open This June At Miracle Mile Shops
Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino welcomes a roster of new entertainment to the center with the opening of the Saxe Theater June, 2010.
Entertainment mogul David Saxe has acquired the $34 million, 435 seat theater formerly occupied by Steve Wyrick. Renamed the Saxe Theater, the 22,000 square-foot entertainment facility will debut this June and will be home to the first major talent-driven Las Vegas stage production in more than a decade.
“Under David’s leadership, who has a stellar history of success at this property, Saxe Theater will take entertainment at Miracle Mile Shops to a whole new level when it opens this June,” said Russ Joyner, executive vice president, general manager of Miracle Mile Shops.
Saxe became the youngest producer in Las Vegas’ history when he launched his sister’s show Melinda – First Lady of Magic at the age of 17. He opened the highly successful V Theater inside Miracle Mile Shops in 2004 which currently features 9 shows, more than any other venue in Las Vegas. Among V Theater’s unique entertainment options are V The Ultimate Variety Show, Gregory Popovich’s Comedy Pet Theater and the most popular pole dancing class in the world – Stripper 101. Saxe is also proud owner of the new Stripper Bar built right outside of the V Theater.
