Since moving to Las Vegas three years ago, Gerry has been a strip headliner with over 650 Las Vegas performances to his credit. He was a headliner at the Legendary Stardust until the casino closed for implosion. Gerry then started performing at Hooters Casino Hotel in June 2007 with a 2 night a week schedule filling in when comic Bobby Slayton’s 7 & 9 p.m. show was dark. Due to overwhelming ticket demand for Gerry’s show, Hooters added a 3rd night, 4th night, 5th night and eventually a 6th night to Gerry’s performing schedule making him a full-time headliner in the Hooters Casino Hotel Night Owl Showroom.

Hooters has now doubled his one show a night schedule to two shows a night, and adding a 7th night during the holiday season.

About Gerry McCambridge

New York born and raised, Gerry McCambridge started his career as a magician at the early age of eight, when he received a magic kit as a holiday gift. From that point on, he pursued his love for magic, comedy and performing live, and eventually defined himself as “the mentalist” — an entertainer who, among other things, showcases his ability to screw with people’s minds. A regular headliner at Las Vegas’ Hooters Casino Hotel, McCambridge now performs there seven nights a week. In addition to recently competing on NBC’s reality show, “Phenomenon,” McCambridge is the star and executive-producer of the hit TV show “The Mentalist.”

He also has appeared on countless talk shows, including “Late Night With David Letterman,” “The Today Show” and “The Best Damn Sports Show Period.” In 2005 he was awarded “Mentalist of the Year” by the Psychic Entertainers Association. The same year Gerry also won “Best Lounge Act” by the Las Vegas Review Journal’s readers’ poll. In 2007 Gerry was nominated “Best Magician” in Las Vegas by the Las Vegas Review Journal’s readers’ poll. In 2008 he won the prestigious “Merlin” award for “Mentalist of the Decade” from the International Magicians Society.
