Hometown Country Singer Tony Marques Gears Up For Academy Of Country Music Awards In Las Vegas

Las Vegas is going country and local singer/songwriter Tony Marques couldn’t be happier – or busier. With the 45th annual Academy of Country Music Awards coming to Las Vegas, the city is gearing up to host country music lovers from across the nation. ACM Sterling Member and Nashville recording artist, Tony Marques is a familiar face within the country music scene and he and his band will be playing in the Celebration Lounge at the Tropicana Resort and Casino during ACM Weekend. The Tony Marques Band will perform a free show on both Friday, April 16 and Saturday, April 17 from 9:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.

A Las Vegas local for more than 20 years, Marques has an enthusiastic and growing fan base domestically and internationally. A self-taught singer, songwriter and acoustic guitar player, his ambition to become a country artist and his love for music and performing has allowed him to share his talent with wide-spread audiences. Locally, he’s been a fixture performing at numerous high-profile events including NASCAR, the National Finals Rodeo and the Pro Bull Riders events.

Putting the finishing touches on his upcoming album of original songs, Tony Marques has been opening for some of the hottest major country acts including Charlie Daniels, Jason Aldean, Craig Morgan, Neal McCoy, Sawyer Brown, Chris Cagle, Darryl Worley, Asleep at the Wheel, Phil Vasssar and Keith Anderson.

He has also had the distinct opportunity to back up Toby Keith and regularly serves as the house band in Toby Keith’s – I Love This Bar & Grill inside Harrah’s Las Vegas.
