George Wallace Announces David Brenner As His Opening Act April 21-May 2 2009 At The Flamingo Las Vegas
George Wallace welcomes stand-up comedian David Brenner as his opening act for the next two weeks. Brenner’s career in comedy began with a national appearance on “The Tonight Show” and took off from there.
His act, which is based on current events and political commentary, has landed him features on MSNBC, CNN and FOX. Prior to his career in comedy Brenner spent his time writing, producing and directing over 115 television documentaries, which earned him numerous awards, including an Emmy. He has been featured in four HBO specials including, “David Brenner: Back with a Vengeance,” which was one of HBO’s highest rated specials. A true comedy veteran, Brenner has made more appearances on “The Tonight Show” than any other guest, with his current count at 158.
George Wallace is in his fifth year as a headliner at the Flamingo Las Vegas and has packed the showroom every night with thousands of laughing fans. Best known for his “Yo Mama” jokes and his infamous “I Be Thinkin’” lines, Wallace creates a one-on-one atmosphere with his audiences, including them in the show and giving away a multitude of prizes during each performance. George Wallace performs at 10 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday at The Flamingo Hotel & Casino. All ages are welcome.
