Valentine’s Day Is Truly Sweet In The Village With Restaurant Specials And A Valentine’s Cruise
Romance is in its natural habitat this Valentine’s Day at The Village Lake Las Vegas. Couples and singles alike are invited to venture to this whimsical haven for an evening of intimacy at one of Las Vegas’ most scenic areas. Guests to The Village can look forward to festive menus at select Village restaurants as well as singles and couples cruises along Lake Las Vegas.
Cruise Options:
Valentine’s Day Cruise
Date: Monday, Feb. 14, 6 p.m.
Cost: $50 per couple
Event Info: Couples are encouraged to come aboard the LaContessa for the annual Valentine’s Day Cruise along Lake Las Vegas. The one hour cruise will feature a complimentary glass of champagne and a cash bar for additional beverages.

Non-Valentine’s Day Cruise
Date: Monday, Feb. 14, at 7:30 p.m.
Cost: $25 per person, $20 per person for groups of five or more
Event Info: The LaContessa will set sail on Lake Las Vegas for the Non-Valentine’s Day Cruise. This singles mixer will include a complementary glass of champagne and a cash bar for additional beverages.

o Sunset & Vines will offer couples a three course meal for $75 as well as a la carte options.
o Three course prix-fixe menu will include First Course options such as; Forest Mushroom Bisque (creamy bisque made of shiitake, oyster, portabella and porcini mushrooms, garnished with chive crème fraiche) and Sunset & Vines “Montelago” Salad (organic baby lettuce with Belgian endive, sweet pickled pearl onions and fresh seasonal tomato, tossed with shallot and chive Champagne vinaigrette); Entrées including Slow Roasted Aged Angus Prime Rib (12 oz. oven roasted, peppercorn crusted aged Angus prime rib finished with mushroom au jus, with grilled asparagus and garlic-horseradish smashed potatoes), Chilean Sea bass with Asian Mushrooms (sautéed Chilean sea bass fillet with Asian mushrooms in ponzu-butter sauce, served with baby bok choy and grilled baby carrots) and Seared Duck Breast with Chipotle and Cranberry (seared Muscovy duck breast finished with chipotle-cranberry sauce, served with jasmine rice with roasted peppers and sun-dried tomato, sautéed haricots verts and baby carrots); Dessert options to include Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake (dark Godiva chocolate infused cheesecake garnished with fresh strawberries, finished with warm chocolate crème sauce), Port Poached Bartlett Pear (Port wine poached pear served with honeyed-citrus mascarpone cheese and Port syrup) Italian Crème Cake and Chocolate and Hazelnut Duo.

o Bernard’s Bistro will feature a menu of Valentine’s Day themed dishes. This candle lit dinner will be available Feb. 13-14 for $65 per person.
o Five course prix-fixe menu features options such as; First Course choices Be My Valentine (blood orange tomato soup, garnished with Cointreau coconut chutney), Roses are Red (beet and goat cheese celebration in two part harmony), Je T’aime (marinated shrimp and lobster mélange in pomegranate herb dressing) and Fleur De Lyse (smoked salmon with crème fraiche and caviar in dill truffle oil); Second Course will be Two Hearts Beating as One (heart shaped artichoke ravioli with mascarpone cheese and asparagus); Intermezzo Champagne sorbet; Main Course including Ménage A Trois (Lavender crusted sea bass with scampi and caviar in orange-scented champagne sauce with Parisian potatoes and asparagus), Romeo & Juliette (duet of red peppercorn-crusted lamb loin and rack of lamb, served with polenta-spiced apricot in Madeira wine sauce), Love Me Tender ( brandy flamed filet mignon and foie gras in Morel Porto sauce, served with potatoes Au Gratin and petite legumes) and Togetherness (quail in zinfandel sauce, served with caramelized pears and truffled sweet peas); Dessert will be the Chefs Creation.
