The Colosseum At Caesars Palace Celebrated Its 6th Anniversary On March 25 2009
Known for providing audiences with extraordinary entertainment experiences, The Colosseum at Caesars Palace celebrated its sixth anniversary on Wed., March 25, 2009. In honor of the occasion, AEG Live held and employee recognition and cake-cutting ceremony to applaud The Colosseum’s 93 original employees.
Since opening, The Colosseum has showcased only the biggest names in entertainment such as Jerry Seinfeld, Luciano Pavarotti, Gloria Estefan, Mariah Carey, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Carole King, Stevie Nicks, Luis Miguel and The Comedy Festival. The Colosseum is currently home to Bette Midler The Showgirl Must Go On, Elton John’s The Red Piano and Cher.
Gary Selesner, president of Caesars Palace cheers, as John Meglen, president and co-CEO of AEG Live/Concerts West presented John Nelson, vice president of AEG Live Las Vegas with an award.
Marking the 6th Anniversary of The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Scott Schecter corporate vice president of entertainment for Caesars Palace, John Nelson vice president of AEG Live Las Vegas, John Meglen president and co-CEO of AEG Live/Concerts West , and H.C. Rowe executive director for The Colosseum at Caesars Palace cut into the Colosseum inspired cake.
