The 10th Annual Latin Grammy® Awards Will Heat Up Las Vegas Thursday, November 5

Latin Music’s Hottest Night to Air Live on the Univision Network From the Mandalay Bay Events Center

The Latin Recording Academy®, Univision Network, Mandalay Bay and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority announced the 10th Annual Latin GRAMMY® Awards will take center stage at the Mandalay Bay Events Center Thursday, Nov. 5. This marks the second time Las Vegas will host the international showcase of Latin music. The Latin GRAMMY Awards previously has been held in Houston, Los Angeles, Miami and New York. This year’s milestone celebration once again will recognize and celebrate musical excellence while featuring performances from the hottest names in Latin music. Nominations for the 10th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards will be announced Thursday, Sept. 17.

“Celebrating the first decade of the Latin GRAMMY Awards is an extremely exciting moment for The Latin Recording Academy,” said Gabriel Abaroa, president of The Latin Recording Academy. “We have spent the last nine years forging partnerships, building a strong membership base and giving music fans truly amazing Latin GRAMMY moments. Following the success we have recently achieved, in this milestone year we are thrilled to bring the telecast back to Las Vegas’ thriving music community, as well as work with our friends at Univision on another memorable Latin GRAMMY show.”

The 10th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards will air live on the Univision Television Network on November 5 at 8 p.m. EST/7 p.m. CST. Additionally, the telecast will be seen globally in more than 110 countries.

The Latin Recording Academy is an international membership-based organization comprised of Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking recording artists, musicians, songwriters, producers and other creative and technical recording professionals.
