Bud Bowl
Date: Sunday, Feb. 6, Game starts at 3:30pm with live 107.9 broadcast from 2pm-5pm
Event Info: The Silverton Casino Lounge invites football enthusiasts to the Bud Bowl, a game night designed for every type of football fanatic. The Bud Bowl combines football, fun, and team loyalty, as guests watch the game in their choice of two premium lounges located within the Silverton. Fans are welcome to enjoy the Super Bowl with like minds and team passions at either the Mermaid Lounge, for the National Football League champions, or Shady Grove Lounge, for the American Football League champions. Each facility will be themed to represent the competing teams.
On top of their already extensive menus, both lounges will provide free Super Bowl snacks from popcorn to chips and salsa as well as reasonably priced game day meals like wings and hamburgers. The Bud Bowl will also have various drink specials including: $1 Bud and Bud Light drafts and discounted prices for liquor beverages.
KVGS 107.9 The Alternative will be in attendance, keeping guests entertained with team merchandise giveaways and other prizes.
Blingo Bingo
Date: Beginning Wednesday, Feb. 9, and continuing every Wednesday and Sunday
Time: 1 p.m., 3 p.m., 5p.m, and 7 p.m.
Event Info: Veil at Silverton Casino Lodge introduces weekly Blingo Bingo, and invites everyone to join the game. Every Wednesday and Sunday participants will take part in a bingo experience unlike any other. Distinguished by its vast array of diverse prizes, Blingo Bingo players will have the opportunity to win up to $5000 per gaming session.
Stupid Cupid
Date: Saturday, Feb. 12, at 7 p.m.
Event Info: The Silverton Casino Lodge is the new Cupid for valley residents, as Silverton hosts Stupid Cupid, a singles mixer. Romance will not be in short supply for those who attend.
Stupid Cupid promises to be a lively evening with events including speed dating, a chocolate-eating contest and great prizes. In addition, those who participate in the speed dating portion of the evening can look forward to free cocktails until the timer ends.

Kellie Pickler
Date: Saturday, Feb. 19, at 8pm
Cost: $30 plus tax and applicable fees
Artist Info: Kellie Pickler rose to fame after her 2004 appearance on American Idol, where the country music starlet surprised Americans with her powerful vocals and sweet Southern charm. Hailing from the rural town of Albemarle, North Carolina, Pickler was destined for stardom and used her small town roots as inspiration for her 2006 debut album, Small Town Girl. The hit single, “Red High Heels”, made Pickler an instant success in the country music community. In 2008 she released her second album, self-titled, Kellie Pickler. Pickler has since been awarded by the Country Music Awards, the ASCAP, and the ACM Awards for her singing and songwriting talents. In addition, Pickler is also involved in philanthropic efforts as an active advocate of the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
