Southern Nevada Children First (SNCF), is a local 501©3 non-profit organization, that provides long- term transitional living and life skills training to homeless pregnant and parenting teens and young adults, ages 16-22.
On March 27, 2010 SNCF will be hosting “Artfully Sweet” at Mix in Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay. With one-of-a-kind culinary creations and the city’s best views of the Strip, Mix is at the pinnacle of style and height of indulgence. Located at the top of THEhotel at Mandalay Bay, Mix is the vision of world-renowned chef Alain Ducasse. “Artfully Sweet” will include champagne and a wide variety of desserts from some of the best pastry chefs in Las Vegas including Eric Snow, trained by Alain Ducasse, local and international art displays including artwork from Peter Lik, live performances including an exciting live auction hosted by JC of 94.1 The Mix, where we will be auctioning off dates with some of Las Vegas’ finest police officers and hottest firefighters, and a silent auction with a number of fascinating items including artwork, golf packages, show and restaurant tickets and much more.
The mission of SNCF is to “strengthen the lives of children and families” by providing pregnant and parenting homeless youth with safe, structured and positive living environments that encourage the development of the skills necessary to successfully transition to self-sufficiency. All proceeds from this fundraiser will be used to fund SNCF’s work.
Through targeted marketing and public relations efforts we are hoping to attract over 250 attendees, including celebrity chefs, media personalities, Las Vegas show performers and local community members. Tickets for the event will be $35,- per person or $60 for two if purchased in advance.
