Silverton Casino Lodge to host the best of PBR

The Professional Bull Riders (PBR) have ridden into Las Vegas and will make camp through November 10 for the 2009 Built Ford Tough World Finals. As the official headquarters hotel for the “Cowboys for Conservation” program as well as the first presenting sponsor of the Trophy Bulls competition, Silverton Casino Lodge will host myriad events to enhance the experience for the fans of PBR.

Ongoing through November 10: Silverton Casino Lodge understands that some people root for the bull rider while others root for the bull. For the first time ever, Silverton will present the opportunity for guests to come and meet the bulls prior to the PBR Finals. The bulls will be housed on Silverton’s property next to the parking lot and are open to public viewing.

November 1: The Trophy Bull Challenge Awards Presentation will be held at Silverton Casino Lodge at 7 p.m. in the Silverton Pavilion. The winner of the inaugural Trophy Bull Award will be announced during the star-studded event. Following the ceremony will be an after party featuring great local musicians. The awards and party are free and open to the public.

November 4: Silverton Casino Lodge will host a Celebrity Black Jack Tournament, with all of the proceeds going to the Rider Relief Fund. The event will feature 90 players with at least one bull rider per table. Every bull rider from PBR will be in attendance, so it’s a great opportunity for guests to come meet their favorite rider. Registration starts at 6:30 p.m., with the tournament starting at 9 p.m. The final round will take place at 10:30 p.m. in the Shady Grove Lounge.

November 7: The moment that PBR fans have been waiting for all year will be held at Silverton Casino Lodge. The 7th and last PBR draft, where the riders will pick which bull they will ride in the finals, will be open to the public and held in the Silverton Pavilion. The doors to the event will open at 9 p.m., with the draft starting at 9:30 p.m. Immediately following the draft will be the official PBR after party, featuring former PBR star and current country music star Justin McBride, as he performs hits like “Don’t Let Go” and “Love Me If You Can.” Tickets for the draft and concert are $15 + LET and are available at www.silvertoncasino.com or the Silverton Box Office.
