Nove Italiano Celebrates (Early) Valentine’s Day With Amore Mio Cooking Class On Feb. 5
In celebration of Valentine’s Day, Executive Chef Geno Bernardo hosts a cooking class at Nove Italiano inside Palms Casino Resort at noon on Feb. 5. Titled Amore Mio, which means ‘my love’ in Italian, Chef Geno is showing romantics-at-heart how to prepare a home-cooked, six-course meal full of seductive foods and aphrodisiacs. Cooking enthusiasts looking to spice up the passionate holiday can participate in Nove’s Facebook contest to name Executive Pastry Chef Victor Solano’s Valentine’s Day themed dessert, which will be featured on the cooking class menu.
The cooking class starts out in the kitchen, where Chef Geno shows guests how to prepare a six-course meal to woo their partner on the loved-filled holiday. After the cooking demonstration, guests are seated in Nove’s beautiful garden room overlooking Las Vegas’ skyline and served the meal paired with exceptional wines to enhance the flavors of each dish. Adding more fun to the February cooking class, Chef Solano has whipped up a heartfelt sugary confection, but needs help finding a name for the decadent dessert. From Jan. 18- 28, Nove hosts a Facebook contest asking guests to submit their best name for the seductive treat.
A photo of the dessert and its ingredients will be displayed on Nove’s Facebook page, where fans can submit their name ideas. All the suggested dessert names will be narrowed down to three and fans will select the winning name. The winner of the contest will receive two passes for the Feb. 5 cooking class and will have their dessert name featured on the cooking class menu as well as on Nove’s dinner menu, available until Feb. 14.
