Knight Lights Up The Las Vegas Hilton With Rock n’ Roll History

Robert M. Knight, one of the most acclaimed photographers in rock n’ roll history is bringing his art to the Las Vegas Hilton to be both enjoyed and even purchased by visitors starting May 28th with a huge musical kick off event.

For more than four decades, Knight has captured iconic images of music legends including Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Elton John, Carlos Santana, Van Halen and Jeff Beck. His images are quintessential pieces of pop-culture mythology.

Robert’s partner and wife Maryanne Bilham is an equally talented photographer whose work will also be on display and for sale at the Las Vegas Hilton along with the work of Jim Evans, who created a new style of art called the “icon narrative. Under the name “Rock Machine”, the three are combining a lifetime of music-based art and photography into re-imagining the experience of rock music.

Robert Knight has been called a “Rock Prophet,” a title given to him for his uncanny ability to find new talent. It’s what led to Knight being the subject of a soon-to-be-released movie, “Rock Prophecies” www.rockprophecies.com, which explores Robert’s amazing career and follows him on his quest to help the bands of today become the Rock legends of tomorrow.

His musical portraits and concert photography are also chronicled by Insight Editions’ lavish coffee table book, “Rock Gods” insighteditions.com/product_info.php.

The Knight Gallery at the Las Vegas Hilton will open on a strong note with a concert called “Knight of the Guitar,” featuring Josh Gooch, Ryan McGarvey, Graham Whitford and Yayo Sanchez. “Knight of the Guitar” is set for May 28th, at 8 p.m. in the Hilton Theater. Tickets can be purchased for $15 at the Las Vegas Hilton box office or on-line at www.lvhilton.com.

The hours of operations for the Knight Gallery at the Las Vegas Hilton will be as follows:

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday: 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.; Wednesday, Friday and Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 11 p.m.
