Join The Madness Of March As Fremont Street Experience Celebrates College Basketball With “March Hoops” – Basketball Fans Are Invited To Enjoy The Month-Long Free Event
Join the Madness of March as Fremont Street Experience celebrates college basketball. Sports fans are invited to take part in the month-long event, March Hoops, now through Wednesday, March 30.
March Hoops at Fremont Street Experience features free entertainment every night with two sexy stage shows — Hardwood Hotties and Dream Team Divas by Face Productions — and the High Hoops Zone interactive area where guests can test their skills at 20-, 25- and 30-foot basketball hoops. Debuting March 15 will be the world’s largest NCAA bracket on the 1,500-foot long Viva Vision screen, which will be updated daily throughout the NCAA tournament.
Tens of thousands of college basketball fans are coming to Las Vegas for the West Coast Conference Basketball Tournament at Orleans Arena March 4-7, Western Athletic Conference Tournament March 9-12 at Orleans Arena, Mountain West Conference Tournament March 9-12 at Thomas & Mack Center, and to watch and bet on the games of the upcoming NCAA Tournament. March Hoops is the place to be for all true basketball fans, as Fremont Street Experience will promote team spirit by spotlighting the banners of all the leading college teams participating in the tournaments.
Harwood Hotties is a high-energy show featuring dancers, singers and a silk act. Songs from AC-DC’s “Shook Me All Night Long” to Katy Perry’s “Firework” will surely get the crowd going. Dream Team Divas opens with the quintessential sports song “Lets Get Ready to Rumble” and then the singing and dance troupe will play some of a today’s top hits like Lady Gaga’s “Pokerface” and Beyonce’s “Put a Ring on It” mixed with sports songs like Lil Bow Wow’s “Basketball” and “Na NA NA NA” (Hey Hey Good Bye.) The entertainment schedule is as follows:
Thursday, March 3 – Wednesday, March 30:
• 8:10, 9:10 and 10:10 p.m. – Hardwood Hotties, 1st Street Stage (Wednesday – Monday)
• 9:10, 10:10 and 11:10 p.m. – Dream Team Divas, 3rd Street Stage (Tuesday – Thursday)
Drink specials will also be available throughout the month from sponsors Bacardi, Cazadres, Heineken, Heineken Light, Dos Equis and Newcastle.
