Holly Madison Ushers In The 2009 Harvest Of Beaujolais Nouveau At Paris Las Vegas

Holly MadisonCelebrating the classic French tradition at Paris Las Vegas, blonde bombshell Holly Madison and a Lucille Ball impersonator kicked-off the resort’s 3rd annual Georges DuBoeuf Beaujolais Nouveau celebration with a traditional grape stomp, reminiscent of the iconic “Lucy” scene.

According to French Law, Beaujolais Nouveau is released on the third Thursday of November. The time-honored event is celebrated at midnight throughout the world as people anxiously await the current year’s vintage. The Las Vegas festivities were held at 3 p.m., coinciding with midnight in Paris, France. Holly Madison, “Lucy” and Yann Bourigault, North America Export Director of Les Vins Georges DuBoeuf were on hand at Paris Las Vegas to unveil this year’s custom designed bottle and were among the first to sample the 2009 harvest.

Holly MadisonBeaujolais Nouveau is made from hand-harvested Gamay grapes. The fresh, fruity red wine is a perfect accompaniment to many holiday dishes. In the last harvest report, Georges DuBoeuf proclaimed that the 2009 harvest was one of the best in the last 50 years.
