Hawaiian Tropic Zone Bids Farewell To Summer With An Action Packed Labor Day Weekend

DETAILS: Kicking off Labor Day weekend, Hawaiian Tropic Zone invites singers and song-lovers to discover their inner rockstars on the Las Vegas Strip with Vegas Karaoke Idol, Sept. 3 – 4. Brave souls can step into the spotlight and showcase their talents for the chance to win $1,000 cash. The top five performers will be determined by the crowd of onlookers and will be invited back to compete in the finals on Saturday, Sept. 5. Keeping the party going late into the night, DJ Koko keeps the dance floor packed and spins a spellbinding set on Friday as ladies drink free from midnight to 2 a.m.

On Saturday, Sept. 5, Hawaiian Tropic Zone welcomes MySpace vixen Christine Dolce, better known as Forbidden, as she hosts her birthday party. Tribute artist Mini Madonna celebrates pop royalty Madonna with a live performance. Donning signature costumes, Mini Madonna will stun the crowd with her live vocals and perform hits from the iconic entertainer including “Like a Virgin,” “Vogue” and “4 Minutes.” In addition, finalists of Hawaiian Tropic Zone’s Vegas Karaoke Idol will hit the stage one last time for the chance to walk away with the $1,000 grand prize. DJ Sincere tears up the turntables with the hottest hip-hop and top 40 mash up while ladies drink free from midnight to 2 a.m.

On Sunday, Sept. 6, mix master DJ Timbo wraps up the powerhouse weekend and hits the decks, spinning an enticing hip-hop and top 40 mix. Rockstars not quite ready for Vegas Karaoke Idol can take their turn on the microphone with Hawaiian Tropic Zone’s reoccurring Strip Karaoke tournament. Patrons can choose from more than 275,000 songs to perform on the strip-side patio.
