Celebrate Mother’s Day in refined style with High Tea at Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition at Luxor on Sunday, May 10. Available only on Mother’s Day, the event takes guests on a journey to the wonderfully opulent age of the early 1900s, to a time before coffee breaks and on-the-go bagels, when people dressed in their finest clothes to enjoy tea, pastries and the extravagance of high society. Served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the luxury assortment of fine teas and edibles offered during High Tea complement the grand experience of Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition, creating an unforgettable celebration for just $49 per person.

In addition to the selection of fine teas, Titanic’s High Tea menu will include several options, starting with fresh baked scones and mini-Danishes. After teasing the taste buds, diners can fill their appetites with a variety of soups and tea sandwiches including tuna, egg or chicken salad and open-faced smoked salmon or roast beef. Assorted petit fours, cheesecake martinis, brownies and cookies conclude the High Tea and prepare diners to experience the story of Titanic like never before.

Following High Tea, guests continue their journey back in time by taking a stroll through Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition. Visitors will feel the excitement of that April day as they become a passenger on Titanic and move through expanded Exhibition galleries to view more than 20 never-before-seen authentic artifacts including gaming chips, passengers’ personal papers and decorative sections from Titanic’s famed Grand Staircase. As the Exhibition unfolds, guests experience the ship’s emotional and historical voyage in chronological order: from the construction yards to her maiden voyage, from first and third class room re-creations to the Promenade Deck and Grand Staircase, from the fated sinking to modern day recovery efforts.

Mother’s Day High Tea at Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition will be held inside Fusia on the Atrium level at Luxor Hotel and Casino from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tickets for this event are $49 and include high tea as well as entrance to the exhibition.
