DJ And Percussion Become One With The Performance Of Video DJ Alpyne And Ricky Bongos At Aliante Station This St. Patrick’s Day

Who: Video DJ Alpyne, known for mixing different genres of music such as Hip Hop, Top 40, Electro, Rock and Mashups joins forces with Ricky Bongos, known for blending the sound of Bongos, bass and snare drums. Both Alpyne and Bongos are available for interview.

What: DJ Alpyne and Ricky Bongos are set to perform a live mix of their own unique styles of music, combining live DJ and percussion for a high-energy show. With awesome drink specials and rockin’ music, it’s sure to be the ultimate way to celebrate this St. Patrick’s Day.

When: Wednesday, March 17, 2010

Entry to the show is first-come, first-served and based upon venue capacity. Guests must be 21 years or older and there is no cover charge.

About DJ Alpyne:
DJ Alpyne relocated to Las Vegas in December 2003 and has never looked back. He has held resident nights at the Jet, Mist, Krave, Foundation Room and the Bare Pool, among others. Alpyne has spun at thousands of events, including performing shows for Britney Spears, No Doubt, Jermaine Dupri, Lil Jon and more. Known for his very appealing mixture of Hip Hop, Top 40, Electro, Rock and Mashups, he is versatile enough to blend into any environment with his diverse knowledge of music. Alpyne is also a video mixer with the ability to add visuals to the mix by blending, mixing and scratching a medley of music videos and great party music into an all-in-one visually stimulating show.

About Ricky Bongos:
An accomplished musician with a degree in music production, Ricky Bongos found himself playing percussion with DJs up and down the East Coast. Holding residencies in Florida and New York, he found his career opportunity as he was asked to join Sarah McLachlan on tour. Since playing with McLachlan, he has toured with Rihanna, Fergie and the Black Eyed Peas as well as worked with bands like The Bravery and Earth Wind and Fire. Bongos blends the sounds of traditional bongos, bass and snare drums into a high energy show and mixes it up with a live DJ. He has a keen ability to create a seamless transition with the DJ, mixing a live mashup of percussion with the DJ’s music.
