City Of Henderson Celebrates Independence Day – Residents Will Enjoy Festive Activities, Live Entertainment And Fireworks

The City of Henderson’s Fourth of July celebration will be a star-spangled evening with a variety of family-friendly events, live entertainment and a fabulous fireworks show on Sunday, July 4 from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at the Basic High School football field, 400 N. Palo Verde Drive. Fireworks will begin at 9 p.m. Admission is FREE. Some activities may require paid admission.

“This is truly a hometown, community event,” said Andrea Primo, Director of the Cultural Arts & Tourism Department. “We plan to make this day special for everyone celebrating our nation’s birthday.”

Attendees will enjoy two stages of live music with performances by Blonde Sided; country music entertainer, Randy Anderson; and the Henderson Symphony Orchestra. Additionally, families will be entertained by an assortment of fun activities including a dunk tank, bounce houses and more. Food and beverage vendors will be on-site.

Complimentary shuttle service will be provided from Morrell Park and Valley View Recreation Center, 500 Harris Street; Heritage Park Senior Facility, 300 Racetrack Road; and the church parking lot, 1002 Burkholder Boulevard, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Only handicap parking will be available at Basic High School.

Glass containers, fireworks, barbeques, alcohol and weapons are prohibited.
