Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group Celebrates Thanksgiving With Festive Fare And Specialty Menus
The Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group will celebrate Thanksgiving by offering guests festive menu items, cocktails and chefs’ menus available at their select restaurants in Las Vegas.
SPAGO
Located inside the Forum Shops at Caesars, Spago combines a unique menu with a distinctive design and will offer a mouth-watering turkey dinner on Thanksgiving Day. At $65 per person, the pre-fix tasting menu will include:
§ Spiced butternut squash soup with cardamom cream, served with cranberry goat cheese panini
§ Roasted free-range turkey roulade featuring pretzel bread stuffing knödel, green bean casserole, sweet potato puree with brown sugar, yellowfin mash potato, fresh cranberry-apple chutney and clove turkey natural jus
§ Triple Silken Pumpkin Pie
CUT
Located at The Palazzo, CUT presents a contemporary twist on the classic steakhouse. This Thanksgiving, guests are invited to indulge in a special tasting menu priced at $65 per person. The menu is as follows:
§ Amuse-bouche – Celery root soup with roasted quince and cranberry compote
§ The Salad – Organic Fuji apple salad with fennel, red endive, Medjool dates and Marcona almonds
§ The Bird – Bourbon red, natural-raised heritage turkey by Four Story Hill Farms
§ For The Table – Red jewel sweet potato puree, Brussels sprouts and confit bacon, Sourdough stuffing with wild mushrooms and sweet onions
§ The Sauces – Cranberry chutney, Turkey gravy
§ The Sweet Pumpkin Tasting – Pumpkin cheesecake, ginger spice cookie crust, Spiced pumpkin pot de crème, maple whipped cream, Apple vanilla stuffed pumpkin donuts with toasted pumpkin seeds and Moravian “cookies & cream” ice cream
§ Harvest Moon Specialty Cocktails ($14) – Hot buttered rum, Meyers dark rum, butterscotch schnapps, nutmeg, Mulled cider, cinnamon, orange rind, Hennessey VSOP cognac, Hot toddy, Bergamot infused earl grey tea, wildflower honey, Cranberry martini, Absolut currant vodka, cassis liquor
POSTRIO
Located inside the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian, Postrio has re-launched with a stunning new interior and exciting new menu. Staying true to the fresh, seasonality of American ingredients, the menu features contemporary California cuisine while drawing upon flavors from Asia and the Mediterranean. This Thanksgiving, Postrio will offer a tasting menu for $39 per person:
§ First Course (choice of)
o Mixed baby lettuces, Bosc pears, goat cheese fondue, pine nuts
o Puree of pumpkin soup, toasted pumpkin seeds, coriander scented crème fraiche
§ Entrée (choice of)
o Roasted free-range turkey breast, brioche stuffing, haricot verts, cranberry compote, herb gravy (offered a la carte at $29)
o Braised beef short rib, Hanson Mills polenta, braised greens, Madeira jus
§ Dessert
o Pumpkin pie with cinnamon ice cream and nutmeg whipped cream
WOLFGANG PUCK BAR & GRILL
Located inside the MGM Grand, the Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill modernizes the traditional “bar and grill” concept with approachable fine dining. To celebrate Thanksgiving, the kitchen will offer the following dishes on its a la carte menu:
§ Wild arugula salad with citrus vinaigrette, dried cranberries, toasted almonds and aged pecorino, $14
§ Oven roasted free-range turkey breast with braised leg, Oregon chanterelle stuffing, Yukon potato puree, honeyed yams, buttered green beans, orange-cranberry relish and herbed turkey jus, $28
§ Pumpkin cheesecake with gingerbread crust, cranberry compote and nutmeg whipped cream, $8
TRATTORIA DEL LUPO
Located inside Mandalay Bay, Master Chef Wolfgang Puck’s first Italian restaurant offers the classic look and feel of an Italian trattoria, the perfect complement to his regional Italian fare. In addition to its regular menu, select menu items will be made available in celebration of the holiday season. Menu items will include:
§ Butternut squash soup made with apple and golden raisin compote, cranberry sauce and pumpkin seed oil, $11
§ Honey glazed turkey breast with mashed potatoes, green beans, cranberry relish and herb gravy, $29
§ Grilled pork chop and braised belly with apple-fennel marmalade and sage, $36
