Taste Of New Orleans At The Country Club Wynn Las Vegas

Wynn Las Vegas: Carlos Guia, celebrated chef of The Country Club, is now running a Taste of New Orleans menu.

On Wednesday thru Saturday evenings, guests can opt for a three-course ($48 per person, from 5:30-7pm) or six-course ($95 per person, avail. throughout) prix fixe menu that pay homage to the Big Easy. Individual dishes from the prix fixe menus are available a la carte.

Guia previously oversaw the kitchen of the popular Palace Café in New Orleans before teaming with the Brennan family to open the Las Vegas outpost of their legendary Commander’s Palace in 2000, where he received a Best Chef Southwest nomination from the James Beard Foundation.

With his authentic New Orleans dishes such as house-smoked Andouille sausage, shrimp and crawfish gumbo and French Quarter beignets, Gu?a brings a taste of the Crescent City to The Country Club at Wynn Las Vegas.

House-smoked Andouille Sausage, Shrimp & Crawfish Gumbo

3rd Course
Jumbo Lump Crab Cake
Summer Truffle Herb Salad, Ravigote Sauce

4th Course
Louisiana Pecan Crusted Fish
Jumbo Lump Crabmeat-Petite Greens Salad, Corn Cream, Creole Meunière Sauce

5th Course
Creole Spiced Petit Filet Mignon
Andouille Smashed Warm Potato Salad, Tobacco Onions, House-made Worcestershire Sauce

Dessert
French Quarter Beignets
Café au Lait Sauce

Cost: $95 for 6 courses, wine pairing available
