Tacos and Tequila Introduces Decadent Desserts With A Mexican Twist
Tacos & Tequila (T&T) at Luxor Hotel and Casino introduces new dessert items to their menu, guaranteed to satisfy any sweet tooth.
After enjoying T&T’s delicious enchiladas or homemade chips and salsa, there’s no better way to satiate your taste buds than with any of T&T’s decadent dessert items. Making their debut at T&T are the chocolate quesadilla, made with a fresh, warm tortilla filled with creamy Nutella hazelnut spread and sliced bananas as well as T&T’s flan, topped with a sweet caramel glaze. The chocolate quesadilla and flan join T&T’s existing array of flavorful favorites including the tres leches cake, a sweet and moist Mexican treat and the banana empanada, a warm empanada, with caramel filling and sliced bananas. For those looking for something cool to satisfy their cravings, T&T also offers their traditional helado frito or fried ice cream, or a classic brownie sundae.
Named one of the best tequila bars of 2011 in America by USA Today, Tacos & Tequila embodies the cool modernism of Mexico City while incorporating traditional elements of Mexican style and Las Vegas flair. The color mixture of old and new creates a vivid picture of brushed aluminum, dark wood, leather, bright fabrics and colored glass. The focal point of T&T’s design is its abstract sombrero composed of 20 brushed-aluminum panels featuring thousands of laser-cut images, including two 30-foot dancing, tequila-drinking skeletons. Lit from within, the breathtaking panels stretch across the entire length of the restaurant floor and across the common area, connecting the T&T retail store and walk-up daiquiri bar.
The highly-stylized Mexican restaurant and bar with a fun, high-energy vibe and flavorful menu is located at Luxor Hotel and Casino, open daily from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. The 8,000-square-foot venue embodies Mexican culture, with a flavorful menu created for Drive This Entertainment! by the talents of world-renowned restaurateur and chef, Richard Sandoval.
