World-renowned pastry chef Jean-Philippe Maury of Jean Philippe Pâtisserie in ARIA Resort & Casino may already be known for his artistic expressions in the dessert world but he is springing forward with his newly available treats, just in time for Easter. He is combining ultimate indulgence with adorable figures to celebrate the sweet side of the holiday.

Jean-Philippe Maury is the executive pastry chef at Jean Philippe Pâtisserie inside ARIA at Vegas’ newest Strip development, CityCenter. The European-style pastry shop specializes in cakes, crepes, panini, pastries, cookies and a variety of chocolates featuring an exclusive line of bonbons and truffles and 24 house-made gelatos in unexpected flavors. Winning the Best Pastry Chef award in France and a gold medal in the World Pastry Team Championship with Team USA, Jean-Philippe’s artistry and imagination has extended to incredible life-size creations around the holidays, such as Easter.

This year Jean-Philippe’s imagination has gone even further, with the following Easter Creations:

• Putting a twist on the traditional chocolate rabbit, Jean-Philippe is offering a Chocolate Biker Rabbit. These bunnies are a mouth-watering way to make that someone special’s heart race.

• Don’t forget about the sports fans. The Chocolate Basketball Bunny and his white chocolate ball, is a slam-dunk for Easter baskets.

• It’s not all about the Easter Bunny this year; Jean-Philippe also has created a chocolate Easter chicken, elephant, monkey and even a hippopotamus. These hand-molded chocolates are the perfect gift for any unique Easter basket.

• But what’s an Easter basket without the Chocolate Rabbit. Jean-Philippe puts a little hop in his chocolate rabbit’s step. Each adorable rabbit is hand-molded and made from the finest Swiss milk chocolate. Accents of dark and white chocolate help bring this bunny to life.

Located on the Casino level next to the guest elevators, Jean Philippe Pâtisserie is open daily from 6 a.m. to midnight. Pricing ranges from $3.50 to $38 and items may be purchased at the Patisserie inside ARIA or on www.jpchocolates.com and shipped overnight anywhere in the U.S.
