Experience The Regional Cuisine Of Trentino Alto Adige, Italy At Panevino Ristorante’s October Wine Dinner

On Thursday, Oct. 28, Panevino Ristorante invites culinary aficionados, wine enthusiasts and casual diners to take a culinary tour through Italy’s Trentino Alto Adige region. Located in the northern part of Italy the region’s cuisine shares both German and northern Italian traditions.

Guests will taste the region’s most popular dishes including polenta, an Italian version of corn bread, and a staple in the Trentino part of the region, and homemade “speck”, boneless pork meat cut in small square pieces and placed in saltpeter with garlic, laurel, juniper, pepper and other herbs, a favorite of the Alto Adige region.

Executive Chef Mario Andreoni, working with sommelier Robb Horesovsky, will host the five-course, prix fixe, gourmet dinner which begins at 7 p.m. and costs $99 per person. Seating is limited and reservations are required. For more information or to make reservations call 702.222.2400.

Radicchio con Speck e Cetriolini – Grilled radicchio wrapped with speck on a bed of julienne pickles drizzled with balsamic reduction

Gulash con Spatzles – Traditional trentino beef stew with spaetzles in a red wine, tomato and paprika sauce
