Bellagio Presents Decadent Epicurean Epicenter Series Dinner Featuring Husic Vineyards Saturday, September 17

Indulge in the latest installment of Bellagio’s Epicurean Epicenter series as the wines of Husic Vineyards are showcased in Tuscany Kitchen Saturday, September 17 at 6:30 p.m. Guests will be treated to a four-course menu created by Prime Steakhouse Executive Chef Sean Griffin complemented by great wine pairings from Napa Valley’s Husic Vineyards. The experience begins with Butter-Poached King Crab with celery root-apple and truffle brioche toast.  The second course features Liberty Farms Duck Breast with caramelized Brussels sprouts, pistachios and butternut squash mustard, followed by Peppercorn New York Steak served with bone marrow fritter, king oyster mushrooms and cipollini onion emulsion.  A study in Gouda rounds out the menu with Marcona Almond and raisin jam along with an assortment of petit fours.

Bellagio Director of Wine and Master Sommelier Jason Smith and Husic Vineyards owners Julie and Frank Husic carefully selected an array of wines from the Husic collection to complement the dinner.  Husic Vineyards lies on nine acres in Napa Valley and produces estate fruit on three vineyards.  The evening will feature the 2007 Husic Chardonnay in magnum bottles, 2009 Husic Chardonnay, 2008 Palm Terrace Cabernet Sauvignon, and the 2005, 2006 and 2007 Husic Cabernet Sauvignons.
