American Coney Island Brings A Taste Of Detroit To the D Las Vegas

Detroit’s favorite American Coney Island opened on the Fremont Street Experience in October 2012 as part of the dramatic transformation in downtown Las Vegas. Known as a high-quality restaurant, it offers specially seasoned Dearborn sausage brand hotdog topped with sweet chopped onions, fine mustard and the Keros family secret recipe Coney Island Chili Sauce served in a warm steamed bun.

Derek Stevens, owner and CEO of the D Las Vegas said, “American Coney Island is such an iconic food staple in Detroit and there is a reason that Detroiters are so crazy about it. We’re excited to introduce our guests to the classic combination of chili, mustard and onion from restaurateurs that have been perfecting the famous Coney Dog for nearly 100 years.”

Grace Keros, third generation owner of American Coney Island said, “For our first venture outside of Michigan, we can’t think of a better place for us to call home than the D Las Vegas. The restaurant will be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so casino patrons will be able to experience Detroit Coneys and have another great option for all day, all night dining.”
