The Pitbull Of Comedy™ Lets Loose On The Las Vegas Strip
The PitBull of Comedy bites back as he debuts his 501st show in the newly remodeled Bobby Slayton Room at the Tropicana Las Vegas Hotel and Casino on Tuesday, May 5.
Bobby Slayton partners with famed Strip producer Bill Voelkner of Voelkner Productions to bring Bobby Slayton The Pitbull of Comedy™, Slayton’s one-of-a-kind, racy comedic act to the Tropicana Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. The show debuts to the public on Tuesday, May 5 inside the Bobby Slayton Room and features Slayton’s remarkably irreverent stints ensuring enormous laughs from audiences alike. His first performance at the Tropicana marks the 501st performance in Las Vegas to date. In addition to opening the show, Slayton and Voelkner will be looking for additional acts to add to the room.
“The move to the Tropicana has been great,” says Bobby Slayton. “I get to do the comedy that I want and the Tropicana has been a great support to the launch of the show. Now if the audiences think my act sucks, they can’t leave because I’ll just lock the doors.”
Audiences around the country will recognize Bobby from his scene-stealing roles in movies such as “Get Shorty,” “Ed Wood,” “Bandits,” and most recently, “Dreamgirls.” He’s been seen on dozens of television shows including “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and “Politically Incorrect.” Bobby’s many appearances on HBO have included “Comic Relief” and his own stand-up specials. He was a series regular on the HBO series, “Mind of a Married Man” and played Joey Bishop opposite of Ray Liotta and Joe Mantegna in the critically acclaimed film “The Rat Pack.” Slayton’s distinctive gravelly voice has often been heard on animated shows like “Dr. Katz” and “Family Guy,” as well as radio shows across the country including Howard Stern, Kevin & Bean and Tom Leykis. Prior to bringing his Bobby Slayton Presents™ to the Tropicana he headlined his own show at Hooters Casino Hotel.
