Station Casinos Las Vegas Announced Free October House Entertainment
Station Casinos entertains locals with a number of new weekly acts and shows at several of its properties in addition to its trademark bands that the city has grown to love.
Guests can get in on the action by cheering for their favorite teams during Monday Night Football at several Station Casinos properties or dance the night away with ’80s hits from Loveshack on Fridays at Green Valley Ranch. Coming this month are:
Every Sunday:
* The Pond – Enjoy DJ Mika at the intimate pool and party from noon to 4 p.m. Guests must be 21 years or older.
Every Monday:
* The Pond – Enjoy DJ Dig Dug at the intimate pool and party from noon to 4 p.m. Guests must be 21 years or older.
* Ovation – Guests can enjoy Monday Night Football with doors at 5 p.m. The game schedule for October includes: New England at Miami on Oct. 4, Minnesota vs. New York Jets on Oct. 11, Tennessee at Jacksonville on Oct. 18 and New York Giants at Dallas on Oct. 25. Guests must be 21 years or older.
* Ovation – Guests can get funky with Vegas Super Band, a 12-piece band that gets the crowd dancing and grooving with a wide range of genres. Doors open at 9:30 p.m. There is a $5 cover and guests must be 21 years or older.
Every Tuesday:
* Quinn’s Irish Pub – Trivia night is held from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Guests must be 21 years or older.
* Hank’s Fine Steaks & Martinis – Peter Love plays piano from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Every Wednesday:
* Hank’s Fine Steaks & Martinis – Guitarist and singer Dave Ritz performs Top 40 hits from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 6:
* Quinn’s Irish Pub – Sing your heart out at Karate Karaoke from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Guests must be 21 years or older.
Every Thursday:
* Ovation – Enjoy live music on a rotating schedule with a variety of genres. The October schedule features: ’80s dance music with Whip Its on Oct. 7, jazz inspired funk with The Lon Bronson All-Star Band on Oct. 14 and 28 and groovy disco with Wonder Boogie on Oct. 21. Doors open at 8 p.m. and guests must be 21 years or older.
* Quinn’s Irish Pub – Darby O’Gill & The Little People take the stage from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Guests must be 21 years or older.

* Ovation – Yellow Brick Road (YBR) performs with doors at 10 p.m. This Las Vegas-based classic rock tribute band takes on the entire classic rock/pop spectrum with an emphasis on details and inflections. Guests must be 21 years or older. On Oct. 29, Phoenix will perform in their place.
* Quinn’s Irish Pub – Loveshack plays the best of the ’80s from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Guests must be 21 years or older.
* Hank’s Fine Steaks & Martinis – Peter Love plays piano from 6:30 p.m. to midnight.
* Lobby Bar – Jeremy Cornwell sings and plays guitar from 8:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. Guests must be 21 years or older.

* Chrome Showroom – Nawgahyde rocks audiences with their brand of “mustache rock,” a fun play on traditional southern rock. Doors open at 9 p.m. and guests must be 21 years or older.
* 4949 Lounge – Sarah Thiele sings and plays piano from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Guests must be 21 years or older. On Oct. 1, Betsy Holms performs jazz standards in her place.
* 4949 Lounge – Enjoy the sweet taste of hookah by Vegas Hookah from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. while DJ Miss Joy spins the night away from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. Guests must be 21 years or older.

* Chrome Showroom – Rock music takes over at Chrome every first Saturday of the month (Oct. 2) with Rock Sugar performing live mashups, mixing the best of rock, metal and pop. The third Saturday of the month (Oct. 16), rockin’ tribute bands pave the way with True 2 Crue, a tribute to Motley Crue. Doors open for both shows at 9 p.m. Guests must be 21 years or older.

* South Padre – Smooth Rhythm and Soul nights hosted by 105.7 The Oasis with a different band each week performing with doors at 8 p.m. The October schedule features: InAffect on Oct. 2, Lhey and Will Thurmond on Oct. 9 and Mocca on Oct. 16 and 23. The artist for Oct. 30 is TBA. Guests must be 21 years or older.
* A-Bar – Darrin Michaels plays jazz from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Guests must be 21 years or older.

* The Railhead – Boulder Blues from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. features local blues bands opening for some of the country’s best blues musicians on the first and third Thursday of the month. The October schedule features: Jr. Boy opening for Bruce Katz on Oct. 7 and John Earl opening for Corey Stevens on Oct. 21. There is a $5 cover and guests must be 21 years or older.
* Kixx Bar – Van De Guzman plays the best hits of yesterday and today from 7 p.m. to midnight. Guests must be 21 years or older.
