P Moss’ Infamous Double Down Saloon in NYC Turns 3 Years Old
P Moss, owner of Double Down Saloon in Las Vegas and New York City, as well as the only authentic tiki bar in Las Vegas, Frankie’s Tiki Room, traveled to the Big Apple this weekend to celebrate the third anniversary of Double Down.
Known the world over as the “happiest place on earth,” the Double Down Saloon has been bringing a much needed sophistication to Las Vegas since 1992, and in 2006 P Moss brought his concept to New York and has since become one of the city’s most talked about bars.
On Saturday, March 7, 2009, Double Down NYC lured in the following VIP guest artists from Sin City: Dirk Vermin, Rob Ruckus and Louie “The Letch” Thomas. DJ Rex Dart from Las Vegas’ own Bargain DJ Collective entertained guests by spinning his beats on the turntables. In addition, topless go-go dancers, a chainsaw juggler and a fire eater by the name of Insectavora kept the guests on their toes.
