Qua Baths and Spa At Caesars Palace To Revitalize Spa Experience With Innovative Aura-Soma Color Therapy Series
The award-winning Qua Baths & Spa at Caesars Palace will bring a new dimension of therapy to the spa industry with the launch of the AURA-SOMA® series. AURA-SOMA combines massage and aromatherapy with the natural healing powers of color and light, a trend that was predicted as one of the Top 10 2012 Global Spa Trends by SpaFinder.
According to SpaFinder’s list of the Top Global Trends for 2012, “color therapy is gaining momentum as more spas incorporate Ayurvedic medicine, an approach that conceives of the body in terms of seven chakras, each associated with a specific organ, and each, in turn, associated with a color. In Ayurvedic thinking, physical imbalances can be improved via color therapy. [At] Qua Baths and Spa at Caesars Palace Las Vegas…’Aura-Soma Color Reading’ is now available; this unique experience has a spa guest select four bottles from a vast display of colored liquids, and a practitioner guides him or her through the significance of his or her color choices and combinations.”
Qua is one of the first spas in the country to offer this revolutionary new therapy. AURA-SOMA Synergy and AURA-SOMA Color Quest are two multi-sensory treatments centered on the revolutionary color care system. The series is designed to bring balance and support to both the physical and emotional wellbeing leading to an enhanced awareness and self-discovery.
“Research has shown that color has profound effects on an individual’s mood or emotions,” said Shannon Stringert, spa manager of Qua. “We created this series to help individuals interpret the way the subconscious experiences certain hues while incorporating traditional elements of massage.”
The series features 109 beautiful Equilibrium bottles filled with colors, aromas, crystals and light. These colorful blends contain100-percent organic essential oils, herbs and flower essences.
Treatments begin with the guest’s selection of duo-colored bottles and a color consultation to explain the meaning of each color and how it applies to each area of the person’s life. Each color combination and the order in which it is selected symbolizes a different area of the individual’s life including: personality, gifts and talents, present state and potential. Guests choose one color to focus throughout the treatment and that color will be incorporated into a multi-sensory experience, using sight, smell and touch.
AURA-SOMA® Color Quest – 75-minutes; $210
This 75-minute treatment begins with the guest’s selection of one colored bottle representing their present state of being. The room is then transformed into a multi-sensory experience using a scented pomander spray and colorful ambient glow lighting. A soothing massage incorporates aromatherapy using AURA-SOMA essential oils and light energy work, leaving a harmonious balance of tranquility and energy within the body.
AURA-SOMA® Synergy – 135-minutes; $400
This customized 135-minute treatment begins with the guest’s selection of four colored bottles; each bottle designed to help guests identify with their inner self.
A 60-minute consultation with Qua’s AURA-SOMA certified practitioner takes guests on a journey of self-discovery aiding in clarity, direction, and tranquility, leading the guest to choose one of the four colors or areas on which they wish to focus. The multi-sensory experience incorporates colored ambient glow lighting and a scented pomander spray along with a 75-minute massage combining elements of aromatherapy essential oils with Hawaiian Lomi Lomi and cranial sacral techniques leading to an overall balance of energy and peacefulness. The journey continues as guests choose their favorite bottle to take home with them as a special gift.
