Thanks to 15 consecutive months of double digit increases in property-wide foot traffic and sales, Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino welcomes over 50,000 square-feet of new and remodeled tenants to the center throughout 2011.

Multiple new merchants totaling 17,300 square-feet are set to open at Miracle Mile Shops throughout the year, such as fashion icon GUESS (June), popular jeweler Pandora (May) and trendsetter Chinese Laundry (April). Additionally, nine merchants totaling 34,422 square-feet such as Victoria’s Secret, Lucky Brand Jeans and bebe have each chosen to upgrade their existing location by investing in a remodel.

An international leader in the fashion industry, GUESS’ Miracle Mile Shops location will showcase a wide range of items and accessories, including contemporary apparel, denim, handbags, watches, footwear and more. Pandora will offer women an assortment of high quality, hand finished, modern and genuine jewelry products at affordable prices, inspiring customers to express their individuality. Chinese Laundry will feature fashion forward footwear and accessories for fashionistas with a flair for individualism.

Other tenants expected to open soon at Miracle Mile Shops include the fastest growing Chinese restaurant chain in North America, Panda Express (May); Basin White (June), featuring bath bombs, body scrubs, soy candles and more; silver, gold, diamond and semiprecious stone jeweler Kafri de Mexico (June); and Lobster ME (June), serving up New England style lobster rolls and cuisine.

With UGG Australia concept store opening last Fall, the store has partnered with Swarovski Crystal to produce a one-of-a-kind classic UGG boots just for the one-of-a-kind Vegas market. It may not be for everyone, but it’s definitely a must-have for Sin City’s flashiest. The limited edition boot costs $800 and can only be purchased at the UGG Australia store at The Forum Shops (3500 Las Vegas Blvd).

Austin “Chumlee” Russell, of “Pawn Stars,” the hit reality History Channel show, is a fan favorite. We bumped into him at Vanguard Lounge in downtown Las Vegas. He was signing copies of Vegas Seven magazine (he was on the cover) for fans. Nice guy, and enjoying the ride of being an overnight TV sensation.

This February, Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino supports the American Heart Association by turning its fountain red in honor of American Heart Month.

Miracle Mile Shops’ fountain displays a bold red hue between regularly scheduled water shows. All money tossed into the popular water feature as well as the center’s indoor rainstorm will be donated on behalf of Miracle Mile Shops to the American Heart Association. The fountain will keep its vibrant red glow until the end of the month.

Regularly scheduled water shows take place at the top of every hour from noon to 11 p.m. daily. Miracle Mile Shops is open 10 a.m. – 11 p.m. Sunday – Thursday and 10 a.m. – midnight Friday – Saturday.
