Manilow will perform 78 shows each year for two years at Paris Las Vegas. The shows are produced by AEG Live in conjunction with Paris Las Vegas. Tickets for performances through July 18, 2010 are currently on-sale.

“The audience in Vegas is always energized and electric, so I know that the Paris Las Vegas is going to be a special run,” said Manilow. “I’m planning something new for this performance; definitely not to be missed.”

Directed by renowned stage and film choreographer and director Jeffrey Hornaday (Flashdance, A Chorus Line, High School Musical), this new show casts Manilow’s hits in a new light in the intimate and elegant 1,500 seat Paris Théâtre. One of the Strip’s popular Broadway imports and the original Frankie Valli in “Jersey Boys” at the Palazzo, Faugno premiered his solo show last August at the South Point and to date has sold out three performances – all with standing ovations from his endearing audiences.

Faugno presents an 80-minute showcase of musical standards from the Great American Songbook, and he’s backed by what he refers to as his “baddest cats” – a seven-piece band with some of the best musicians from the Strip. MGM Grand and Valencia Entertainment announced today that three-time Oscar and five-time GRAMMY® Award-winner Michel Legrand will perform a tribute to his 50 years of music and movies at the MGM Grand Garden Arena Saturday, March 27. The event is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m.

Over the course of his 50-year career, Legrand has composed more than 200 film and television scores as well as several musicals. Legrand was only 22 years old when his first album, I Love Paris, became one of the best-selling instrumental albums ever released. He is a virtuoso jazz and classical pianist as well as accomplished arranger and conductor who performs with orchestras worldwide.

During the show, Legrand will conduct a 66-piece orchestra and perform with many of his superstar friends such as Jones, Flack, Warwick, Steve Lawrence, Melissa Manchester, Neil Sedaka, Jerry Lewis, Andy Williams, George Benson and Patti Page. Following the show, ticketed and non-ticketed guests are invited to enjoy the lounge experience with Goss and his band, as they linger to enjoy the Barge with their fans. Prior to the March 12 opening of Goss’s show, Cleopatra’s Barge will be refurbished with new red curtains, carpet and furniture. Adjustments also will enhance sight lines to create an intimate showroom experience for its 165 guests.
