Bingo Players Score Big At Binion’s With $25,000 and $5,000 Jackpots

Jackpot Bingo Winner at Binion's Las Vegas

It did not take long for players to start raking in jackpots at Binion’s Bingo Hall. The iconic Las Vegas property brought bingo back to the casino on February 1, 2011 and within 26 days, two lucky winners scored big. Rasela from Hawaii was the first to hit, winning the $5,000 Bonanza Coverall on February 10. Then just 16 days later, James, a Las Vegas local, cashed a really big “BINGO” with the $25,000 Gaming Arts Super Bonanza Coverall Multi-Win. On February 26 during the 7 p.m. session, James, who plays at Binion’s regularly, covered his entire card in 48 numbers to earn the prize.

In addition to the $5,000 and $25,000 jackpots, Binion’s Bingo Hall features downtown Vegas’ largest jackpot: the $50,000 Gaming Arts Super Triple Multi-Win. Binion’s Bingo Hall has six daily sessions, with 13 games in each. The $50,000 Gaming Arts Super Triple Multi-Win is available in the seventh game of each session. Sessions begin at 11 a.m. and run every two hours, with the last session starting at 9 p.m. During the 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. sessions, Binion’s will double the payouts for five of the 13 games.

Players must be 21 years or older to enter the room and participate in bingo. A complete set of rules and more information on the types of games, jackpots and buy-ins are available in Binion’s Bingo Hall.

The World’s Best Poker Players Return To Caesars Palace To Compete At NBC’s National Heads-Up Poker Championship For Chance To Win Big

With a larger tournament grand prize package than ever before, 64 of the world’s most elite poker players will go “all in” at the seventh annual National Heads-Up Poker Championship presented by GoDaddy.com on March 3-6 at the Caesars Palace Poker Tournament Room. Heads-Up brings a who’s who of the poker world to compete in its distinctive, bracket-style head-to-head format for $1.8 million in combined prize money. Among the players, Annie Duke returns to the tables to defend her 2010 tournament title and her chance at the $750,000 first-place grand prize. GoDaddy.com, the world’s top Web hosting provider and largest domain name registrar, returns for a third year as the presenting sponsor of the tournament, which will be taped for broadcast on NBC over six consecutive Sundays in April and May.

“We are proud to broadcast the National Heads-Up Poker Championship for a seventh consecutive year for our viewers to see some of the most exciting poker in the world,” said Jon Miller, president of programming of NBC Sports and Versus. “You never know what match-ups you are going to get in Heads-Up. Every year we are amazed with the outcome of who beats who when the best of the best battle it out.”

Scheduled to appear in this year’s event are several of the world’s top poker pros, including: Go Daddy Girl and Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Rousso, Phil Ivey, Andy Bloch, Darvin Moon, Doyle Brunson, Chris Ferguson, Huck Seed, Daniel Negreanu, along with 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event champion Jonathan Duhamel and 2010 Heads-Up finalist Paul Wasicka, who Duke staged a dramatic come-from-behind victory against in the third round at last year’s tournament.

“Year after year, I look forward to competing among the toughest competition out there that the Heads-Up tournament brings together for fans to see nationwide,” said last year’s Heads-Up champion Annie Duke. “I am excited to compete against the skill and mental toughness that my fellow poker players will showcase on the tables.”

“The great thing about poker fans is they are Internet savvy and extremely loyal,” said Go Daddy CEO and Founder Bob Parsons. “We will absolutely be rooting for our Go Daddy Girl Vanessa Rousso – Vanessa was the first woman to ever reach the finals of this tournament back in 2009, which was also the first year we sponsored it.”

Model and television personality Leeann Tweeden will serve as the host and sideline reporter, while Craig Hummer and Ali Nejad will provide commentary for the broadcast.

The National Heads-Up Poker Championship features 64 top poker players competing in a series of heads-up, one-on-one matches of No Limit Texas Hold’em to determine the best heads-up poker player in the world. This tournament has a unique, single-elimination, bracket-style format modeled after college basketball’s championship tournament, except that the finals are the best of three.

The first round opponents for the brackets will be chosen at random during the tournament’s Draw Party held at PURE Nightclub at Caesars Palace on Thursday, March 3. The single-elimination competition begins Friday, March 4 at noon and continues through Sunday, March 6, when a two-out-of-three championship match will determine the winner. The viewing gallery is open to guests on a first-come, first-served basis.

Sessions begin at 11 a.m. and run every two hours, with the last session starting at 9 p.m. The $50,000 Super Triple Multi-Win is available in the seventh game of each session. Bingo players can also cash in on the $25,000 Super Bonanza Coverall, Progressive Hot Ball Jackpots and the $5,000 Bonanza Coverall, which includes a grab session in the Whirl Wind of Free Slot Play in addition to the cash payout. Plus, during the 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. sessions, Binion’s will double the payouts for five of the thirteen games.

“Bingo was once popular at Binion’s, and many of the people who used to play here regularly asked us to bring it back,” said Tim Lager, general manager of Binion’s Gambling Hall. “In designing the new room and types of games we offer, we focused on the customer experience and how to make bingo players happy. The location of the room was chosen specifically for this reason.”

Binion’s Bingo Hall sits centrally on the casino floor near the Club Binion’s players club and within steps of the Binion’s Deli where players can choose from a variety of handmade sandwiches. Bingo players are invited to sip complimentary drinks during each session and may choose paper cards and/or electronic games.

Bellagio Resort & Casino Hosts First-Of-Its-Kind Event, Poker’s Ultimate Bottle Tournament’ January 28-30, 2011

The AAA Five Diamond Bellagio has partnered with the Charity Case Foundation, a philanthropic group of California winemakers, to create an extraordinary charitable event, Jan. 28-30. The weekend’s festivities will be filled with exemplary wines, astounding cuisine and “Poker’s Ultimate Bottle Tournament.”

The poker tournament requires an entry fee of $2,800 and event organizers anticipate the prizes, which are all large-format bottles of wine including Hundred Acre, Far Niente and Joseph Phelps, among others, to be one of the most extensive collections ever assembled for a charitable event.

Guests will enjoy three luxurious days at the world-class Bellagio while being part of a special experience to raise money for several worthy charities in Napa County and Southern Nevada. In Napa County, beneficiaries include the Wolfe Center, Cope Family Center, Foster Kids Fund, and the Aldea Children and Family Services. The Southern Nevada beneficiaries are Nevada Cancer Institute and the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health.

“Bellagio is proud to host this premier poker tournament and partner with such elite winemakers as those from the Charity Case Foundation,” said Randy Morton, president and COO of Bellagio. “With our unsurpassed service and amenities, we are able to provide our beneficiaries and event participants with a weekend to remember.”

The festivities will begin Friday, Jan. 28, as all registered participants gather and mingle with winemakers, celebrities, VIP guests and Bellagio’s elite team of Master Sommeliers for a pre-tournament party which will include enticing cocktails and appetizers from Bellagio’s award-winning chefs.

On Saturday, Jan. 29, after a final opportunity to register for the poker tournament and a delectable lunch buffet, the competition will begin in the Fontana Lounge, which provides breathtaking views of the Fountains of Bellagio. For the first six levels, players will be allowed unlimited re-buys at $2,500 each so long as they have less than their original starting chip stack of $10,000. At the conclusion of the re-buy period, all players will be offered a one-time add-on at a fee of $2,500, or a double add-on at $5,000.

Additionally, several of the competing celebrities and VIP guests will have a “bounty” placed on them. If a player knocks out a celebrity or VIP guest who owns a bounty, they will win an exclusive bottle of wine. At least one player at each table will own a bounty at the beginning of the tournament, which in turn will increase the amount of money for the benefiting charities.

Tournament competition will end Saturday evening at 8 p.m. or when the final table is determined, whichever occurs first. The event activities will resume Sunday, Jan. 30 at 11 a.m. with an exclusive wine tasting with producers who have donated large-format bottles. This allows players who do not make the final table an opportunity to enjoy some of the top donated wines. The final table will begin play at noon and when the winner is determined, they will become “Poker’s Ultimate Bottle Champion” and earn a 24k, 3-ounce gold bracelet donated by Monex Gold.

For more information about the poker tournament and three-day event visit www.ultimatebottletournament.com, www.charitycasefoundation.org or call the Bellagio Concierge toll free at (866) 406-7117.
