WHAT: BODIES… The Exhibition is celebrating two successful years at Luxor Hotel and Casino Thursday, August 12. Guests are invited to take advantage of the two-for-one discount and enjoy a piece of the exquisitely designed and detailed custom BODIES cake created by Vegas’ favorite bakery, Freed’s. Dr. Roy Glover, Chief Medical Director, will be available to speak with guests and answer any questions about the Exhibition and its world-famous specimens.
Dr. Glover will also present one lucky Exhibition guest with a gift basket worth more than $250. All guests can enter the national contest to become The Exhibition’s 1.5 millionth guest and win a return trip to Las Vegas.
WHO: Dr. Roy Glover is the Chief Medical Director of all BODIES… The Exhibitions around the world. A medical educator for more than 30 years, Dr. Glover is Professor Emeritus of Anatomy and Cell Biology at the University of Michigan as well as the creator and former director of the University of Michigan Medical School Polymer Preservation Laboratory. In addition to his accolades in the field of polymer preservation, he has received numerous medical awards including the O’Connor Research Award and the National Neuroscience Excellence in Teaching Award.
