Tim Allen and Holly Madison made a surprise appearance at the “Salute Our Troops” dinner at The Palazzo Las Vegas this evening. The 70 wounded soldiers and their families continued a weekend of VIP treatment while enjoying a poolside dinner. Tim, currently headlining at The Venetian Showroom, and Holly, star of E!’s “Holly’s World” came to show their appreciation and thanked the veterans for their courage and sacrifice.
The troops and their families where eager to line up and take photos with the surprise celebrity guests. “This is a really great event that The Palazzo is doing,” said Holly. “The fact that I was invited is an honor.” Guests took a break from enjoying barbeque favorites provided by Omaha Steaks to mingle and shake hands with the actor and reality star. “It’s an absolute pleasure to be here,” said Tim. “I have nothing but respect for them.” Tim later remarked that he and his wife got choked up while watching the troops arrive at The Palazzo yesterday afternoon. The troops will later enjoy a “Jersey Boys” performance followed by a VIP evening at TAO Nightclub at The Venetian. Tomorrow they will be treated to spa services at Canyon Ranch SpaClub, an ultimate sports fan experience at Lagasse’s Stadium and Blue Man Group before departing Monday morning.
