Ravella At Lake Las Vegas Introduces Bottomless Champagne Brunch For Easter Sunday, April 24 – Enjoy Gourmet Brunch, Flowing Champagne And “Chocolate Decadence” For $42

Ravella at Lake Las Vegas invites guests to celebrate Easter Sunday with a delicious brunch and bottomless champagne bar at Medici Café and Terrace for $42 per person. Guests can dine in the café or soak up the glorious spring weather on the terrace, both with an amazing view of the lush Florentine Garden and Lake Las Vegas area.

Seating for Ravella’s Easter Champagne Brunch will be from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. The cost is $42 plus tax and includes unlimited champagne and mimosas. Brunch sans champagne is $35, and the cost for children ages 12 and under is $16. To make a reservation, please call 702-567-4700.

Drawing from Ravella’s European-inspired surroundings, Executive Chef Charlie Hansji is introducing a menu that features brunch favorites along with Mediterranean-influenced dishes like lemon ricotta pancakes; prosciutto di parma with figs steeped in port; roast saddle of spring lamb with young peas, fava beans and fennel to make guests feel they’ve been whisked away to a colorful Italian village.

Brunch also will include a chilled seafood bar complete with oysters on the half shell, fresh shrimp and crab claws; a variety of seasonal salads and gourmet vegetable dishes including Ravella Caprese, asparagus with sesame dressing and fava beans with fennel; and classic brunch offerings like vegetable quiche and eggs benedict with ham hash croquettes. Fresh fruit, including a variety of sweet melons and berries, as well as homemade pastries and muffins also will be served.

Celebrate with the whole family and bring the children to devour all-time favorites like chicken tenders, mac and cheese and blueberry pancakes, sure to please even the pickiest of palates.

After a savory meal, guests can indulge their sweet tooth with Ravella’s “Chocolate Decadence,” which includes chocolate raspberry decadence, white chocolate cheesecake, chocolate fudge torte, chocolate mint cupcakes, chocolate ganache cupcakes, hazelnut espresso double-chocolate brownies, chocolate chip cookies, tiramisu and, the stars of the Easter baskets: chocolate bunnies and Easter eggs.

Following the meal, take the family to The Village Lake Las Vegas, located just steps from the resort, to continue the festivities. The Village will have an Easter Celebration from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., including an Easter Bunny, face painting, music and egg hunts. Golden Nugget Ups The Ante With Fourth Annual Grand Poker Series

The Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino will host its fourth annual Grand Poker Series June 4 – July 4, 2011 in the property’s luxurious events center, The Grand.

This month-long event will feature more than 200 poker tournaments including Omaha high/low, HORSE, Pot Limit Omaha, 7 Card Stud and plenty of heart-pounding No Limit Hold ‘em action, as well as cash games, special tournaments for seniors and ladies, in addition to two signature bracelet events – the Poker Queen Ladies Championship and The Grand Finale No Limit Championship.

“Every year we are thrilled to welcome back the Grand Poker Series installment,” said John Colville, director of Golden Nugget poker. “With seven daily tournaments and buy-ins starting at just $65, there’s a game for every player and every bank roll.”

Previous years’ Grand Poker Series have hosted more than 25,000 players from across the globe, handing out in excess of $2.3 million in total prize money and raised more than $425,000 for charity through special celebrity charity tournaments.

Matsuri At Imperial Palace Introduces Locals Special – A Blend Of Beauty, Energy And The Unexpected

Matsuri is offering an incredible deal for locals to see their show at the Imperial Palace Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. From now until May 31, 2011, locals can purchase tickets to the show for only $20 (plus box office fees and tax) with a Nevada ID.

Since the terrible earthquake and tsunami struck Japan last month, the show has been collecting donations at each performance to assist with relief efforts at home. In addition, through the month of May, Matsuri will donate $5 for each locals ticket purchased to the American Red Cross. The show has already raised over $2,000 and hopes to reach $10,000 by the end of May.

The production show, comprised of 15 Japanese nationals, features traditional and contemporary Japanese culture through acrobatics, gymnastics, dance, and comedy.

Bellagio Gallery Of Fine Art Presents “A Sense Of Place: Landscapes From Monet To Hockney” – Las Vegas’ Premier Exhibition Space Debuts New Collection Of Masterworks

WHAT: Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art (BGFA) will showcase “A Sense of Place: Landscapes from Monet to Hockney” beginning Saturday, April 16. Organized in partnership with the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego (MCASD) and Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (MFA), the exhibition will showcase landscapes by artists including Claude Monet, Marc Chagall, Helen Frankenthaler, David Hockney, Sylvia Plimack Mangold, Robert Rauschenberg, Christo, Vik Muniz and many others.

Through a juxtaposition of images, “A Sense of Place” will present more than 30 artworks ranging from paintings, photographs and a video installation that contrast and compare both approach and expressionism in art.
