Mixed Martial Arts legend Randy “The Natural” Couture will host his third annual “Operation All In” poker tournament and charity auction benefiting the Xtreme Couture G.I. Foundation at the Golden Nugget Las Vegas, Saturday, Oct. 30 starting at 2 p.m.

This event, held in The Grand events center, is open to the public and will feature a celebrity charity poker tournament, live and silent auctions, autograph sessions with photo opportunities, raffle prizes and special Halloween after party in Gold Diggers, while giving back to injured troops.

“Operation All In” will welcome professional celebrity poker players and stars from the MMA world and Hollywood to play alongside the public in its charity poker tournament, where several great prizes will be awarded along with the grand prize of $10,000 cash.

The buy-in for “Operation All In” at the Golden Nugget is $225 with $100 multi re-buys. Players in the poker tournament also receive free entry to the first annual Randy Couture Halloween bash starting at 8 p.m. inside Gold Diggers nightclub overlooking the Fremont Street Experience. Those not wanting to play poker can purchase tickets to the Halloween bash at the door for $25 per person and are still given the opportunity to donate money for a good cause as a portion of proceeds will go towards the Xtreme Couture G.I. Foundation.

MMA fighters confirmed to attend include Randy Couture, Tyson Griffin, Ryan Couture, Martin Kampmann, Gray Maynard, Jason Ron, Ray Sefo, Mike Pyle and John Alessio. Other fighters and poker pros are expected to confirm attendance as the event nears.

Ultimate Fighting Champion Couture, a veteran himself of the Army’s 101st Airborne Division, started the Xtreme Couture G.I. Foundation to raise money and awareness for troops wounded in action and their families. After visiting with amputees at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Couture was brought to tears seeing the young men and women who had given their all for freedom, young heroes who now have to go through life’s challenges with devastating physical and emotional injuries. The Xtreme Couture G.I. Foundation goal is to help these brave men and women fulfill any of their unmet needs as they return back to civilian life.

A highlight of the event will be both the silent auction, with an amazing array of MMA memorabilia up for grabs, and the live auction which includes some items donated personally by Couture, such as dinner with the fighter and a one-hour personal MMA lesson. In addition to Couture, other MMA fighters will be on hand throughout the evening for photos and autographs with tournament players and fans.

Rock icon Rod Stewart announced today that he will play eight performances at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace November 6-21. These performances follow a record-breaking summer tour with 33 sold out shows including dates in the UK, Ireland, Europe and as far reaching as Moscow, Dubai and Tel Aviv. For the first time ever, Stewart will play all of his greatest hits spanning his career of five decades in an intimate and up-close setting in Las Vegas. Fans who have seen his amazing, high energy shows in arenas & stadiums will now be able to see him in a much smaller and more intimate venue. This special engagement run of eight shows is presented jointly by Caesars Palace and AEG Live.

“For some years now, AEG Live has been wanting me to do a residency show in Vegas. I decided it was time to give it a try but I thought ‘first, let’s try 2 weeks instead of 2 years though’,” said Rod Stewart. “Who knows what this could lead to? I know that my band, background singers, and I are going to enjoy performing in such an intimate setting and having the chance for the fans to be in close proximity while hearing all the hits.”

Dates for the limited engagement are November 6, 7, 10, 14, 17, 18, 20, and 21. All shows begin at 8pm.
