What: On Easter Sunday, Hash House A Go Go will feature specials ranging in price from $8.95 to $22.95 in addition to the mouthwatering regular menu items. Easter specials include:
• Filet & Eggs – a hand-cut beef filet served with eggs any style, griddled mashed potatoes, fresh market tomato, fresh fruit and a buttermilk biscuit.
• Andy’s Famous Crab Cake Benny – blue crab with fresh spinach and garden tomato over griddled mashed potatoes topped with two eggs and drizzled with yellow pepper cream and toasted almonds.

The Rampart Casino will celebrate Easter Sunday with Special Menus on Sunday, April 4 at the Carmel Room, Promenade Café and Rampart Buffet.

Easter Sunday Menus

Carmel Room will offer an Easter Tea & Brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for $32 per person.

The menu options will include Numi Organic Tea and Teasan or freshly brewed coffee, a Pastry Basket featuring a basket of warm pastry, muffins, cinnamon rolls and sticky pecan rolls, Fruit Compote featuring fresh assorted melon balls and fresh berries with Chambord syrup. There will be a choice of three entrées: Traditional Roasted Ham with apricot glaze, creamy au gratin potatoes, baby carrots and sugar snap peas for $9.99 or Roasted Leg of Lamb with rosemary roasted pee wee potatoes, carrots, sugar snap peas and mint bordelaise sauce for $12.99 or Smoked Salmon featuring lightly cured and smoked salmon with crispy potato pancakes, asparagus and dill hollandaise for $11.99. Each entrée will come with a choice of either Spinach Salad featuring baby spinach with shaved red onion, mandarin orange, walnuts and raspberry vinaigrette or Cream of Asparagus Soup. Men of “X,” the sexy male revue at Hooters Casino Hotel, is taking its show to another level – eye level that is – with their move from the Night Owl Showroom into Dixie’s Dam Bar. The show, which just celebrated its first anniversary, will become even more interactive inside the 3,000 sq. ft. space, allowing the Men easy access to mingle with their audience.

The Henderson Heritage Parade & Festival, a celebration of the city’s 57-year history, rich traditions and community spirit, will be held on Saturday, April 17 from 8 a.m.-7 p.m. at the Henderson Events Plaza, located at 200 S. Water Street, in the Water Street District. The event will include a mayor & council breakfast, parade, festival and car show. Admission is free.

“Henderson has grown into a great community,” said Andrea Primo, Director of the Cultural Arts & Tourism Department. “It’s that time of year to come together to celebrate how far we’ve come over the years, acknowledging our roots and transformation.”

Kicking off the celebrations will be the mayor & council breakfast at 8 a.m. in front of the Henderson Convention Center, located at 200 S. Water Street, followed by the parade down Water Street, from Ocean Avenue to Victory Road, at 10 a.m. Lon Kruger, UNLV men’s basketball head coach, will serve as this year’s parade grand marshal.

Marching bands, floats and youth groups will be decorated to the theme of “Futuristic Henderson – Decade of Destiny.” Entries will be judged in four different categories including Best Float, Best Costume, Best Group and Best Marching Band for a chance to win over $2,000 in prizes.

Other activities include a festival featuring delicious world cuisine, hours of live entertainment, craft and cooking demonstrations, courtesy of the International Food & Folklife Association, from 11 a.m.-7 p.m., as well as a classic car show on Water Street, from Basic Street to Atlantic Avenue, from 12 p.m.-5 p.m. Trophies and awards will be given to car show participants in several different categories.

Major changes are taking place to Las Vegas’ visitor area bus service. For years, many have used the double-decker Deuce bus service that ran from downtown all the way down the length of The Strip. A new express service called the ACE now joins the Deuce.

• The Deuce – Will continue to serve the Las Vegas Strip from The Sahara to Mandalay Bay, making all of the present Deuce stops. The Deuce actually turns west at Sahara and continues on to Palace Station. Deuce Las Vegas PDF Route/Schedule
  
• The Ace – New Service that will run from Las Vegas Premium Outlets downtown over to Casino Center Drive (cutting right through the middle of Fremont Street Experience) and on to The Strip. Important Note: This is a limited stop service along the Las Vegas Strip. It will make much better time than The Deuce, but beware to not overshoot your stop or you’re in for a long walk back!
