Simon at Palms Place offers guests unique culinary options to be thankful for this holiday season. Chef Kerry Simon’s signature style and flair is reflected in a memorable and crowd-pleasing menu.

Thanksgiving brunch is available on Thanksgiving Day from noon until 7 p.m. and costs $38 per person which includes a complimentary glass of Beaujolais or Chablis. Guests can snuggle up by the fireplace, give thanks with friends and loved ones, and enjoy a holiday spread filled with imaginative choices to rival any home-cooked meal.

Upon seating, guests are greeted by assorted appetizers consisting of crispy sausage stuffed olives, Dungeness crab deviled eggs, rosemary roasted nuts and date and bleu cheese stuffed mushrooms.

The gourmet salad station includes options such as the turkey chop; mixed green salad with goat cheese, cranberries and pine nuts, or an endive salad with candied walnuts and Point Reyes blue cheese.

Side dishes for the Thanksgiving brunch include holiday staples such as sweet potato casserole covered in marshmallow fluff and brandied cherries, traditional cornbread stuffing, cranberry dressing, green bean casserole topped with crunchy onions and the Simon-favorite mac n cheese, among other choices.

Traditional carvings include roasted turkey breast and turkey leg confit, applewood smoked Berkshire pork loin and roasted prime rib. A dessert and bread station includes an assortment of breads such as croissants, pretzel bread and biscuits. Desserts include the cranberry brown butter tart, pumpkin pie, caramel apple and pumpkin donuts, chocolate pecan pie and much more.

Adding a unique flair to traditional items, a soup and Panini station will include the turkey bobbie Panini, roasted pumpkin soup, New Orleans-style turkey gumbo, buttered crab fingers and a shrimp station.

The Pearl goes country during the National Finals Rodeo with a special performance by country music sensation Trace Adkins on Wednesday, December 9, 2009.

Trace Adkins is a multi-platinum country music recording star who has remained a chartbuster for more than 11 years. He has become one of country music’s top headlining performers and has sold millions of records, won dozens of industry awards and is a member of the prestigious Grand Ole Opry. A Louisiana native, Adkins has released nine studio albums with seven of those albums reaching gold or platinum certification.

Adkins is well known for songs such as “Honky-Tonk Badonkadonk,” “Songs About Me,” “Ladies Love Country Boys” and “This Ain’t No Thinkin’ Thing,” among numerous others. In 2008, Adkins came in second place on the NBC hit reality series “Celebrity Apprentice” with Donald Trump and later that year won the Country Music Television (CMT) award for best male video for “I Got My Game On.”

Cher Returns To The Colosseum At Caesars Palace With New Show Changes And The Addition Of Spring 2010 Dates

Due to overwhelming demand, Spring 2010 performances of Cher at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace will go on sale Saturday, Nov. 14 at 10 a.m. These new available tickets will include 24 performances from April 10 -25 and May 8 -30.

In addition to more performances, the pop icon will return to The Colosseum stage on November 19 with a newly added opening sequence and even more glitzy Bob Mackie costumes. Celebrating old-time Hollywood glamour and style, these new additions feature dazzling theatrics that pay tribute to the grace and timelessness of the 1940′s and 1950′s.

“We are so excited to return to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace and have made wonderful, new changes to the show, including a number choreographed by my dear friend Tyce Diorio from So You Think You Can Dance,” said Doriana Sanchez, director and choreographer of Cher at The Colosseum. “It pays homage to the great movie musicals, complete with incredible costumes by Bob Mackie. We are thrilled to be able to present some really fun and new things for the audiences to see.”

Boyd Gaming Offers Multiple Entertainment Options During The Wrangler National Finals Rodeo – December 3-12

This December, fans and participants of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (WNFR) need look no further than their favorite Coast Casino for exciting entertainment options, including the return of National Finals Tonight.

For the third year, the award-winning National Finals Tonight program will be presented in the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino’s Showroom. The program will run nightly at 10:30 p.m. during the WNFR, scheduled December 3-12. Admission is free and open to the public.

National Finals Tonight, a post-show wrap-up of each day’s rodeo events, features rodeo highlights and interviews with some of the most recognizable names in the world of professional rodeo. Eight-time World Champion and Hall of Fame Cowboy Don Gay, along with World Champion Tie-Down Roper and All-Around Cowboy Joe Beaver and TV personality Dan Miller, will host the program.
