Terrible’s Primm Valley Casino Resorts presents talented recording artist, Grammy Award winner and actor LL Cool J 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11 at Buffalo Bill’s in the Star of the Desert Arena.

More than 25 years since first bursting into the music scene, LL Cool J continues his vibrant, trailblazing career as a hip-hop icon. The sexy, steamy, sultry event is the “4th Annual Naked Hearts,” presented by KRAVE Nightclub and staged as a benefit for Las Vegas-based HIV/AIDS charity Golden Rainbow. This year’s bare-as-you-dare event takes place (appropriately enough) on the Strip inside the world-famous KRAVE Nightclub. DJ Escape spins. The 2009 NASCAR race week returns to Las Vegas Monday, Feb. 23 – Sunday, March 1 and MGM MIRAGE properties will offer guests a variety of exciting activities. Fans in town for the 2009 Shelby 427 NASCAR race can take advantage of great room packages, meet and greets with their favorite drivers, and food and beverage specials at various bars and restaurants along The Strip.

Monte Carlo will be the host hotel for JTG Daugherty Racing, the NASCAR team that owns and operates the No. 47 race car driven by Marcos Ambrose in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and the No. 47 race car driven by Michael McDowell in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. JTG is participating in the Sam’s Town 300 event Saturday, Feb. 28 and the Shelby 427 event Sunday, March 1.

A meet and greet autograph session will be held Friday, Feb. 27 at 7:30 p.m. with both Ambrose and McDowell. Luxor will host Roush Fenway Racing, the NASCAR team that owns and operates the No. 26 Crown Royal race car driven by Jamie McMurray in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Roush Fenway Racing will participate in the Shelby 427 event Sunday, March 1.

The No. 26 Crown Royal car will be displayed on the Luxor casino floor Thursday, Feb. 26 and Friday, Feb. 27. McMurray will host a complimentary autograph session and meet & greet for fans Thursday from 7-9 p.m. This will be open to the first 400 fans in attendance.

MLB designated hitter who is currently a free agent, Frank Thomas, partied at Playboy Club inside The Palms Casino Resort Sunday night (2.22.09) with three friends.  Thomas was seen drinking white wine, playing blackjack and enjoying the overall atmosphere of the nightclub.  Also spotted was Jennifer Pershing, who was selected to be Playboy’s March 2009 Playmate of the Month.  Arriving with two friends, Pershing sat at a table drinking Ketel One and tonic.

Rasheda Ali attended Lance Burton’s show and met with him afterwards at the Monte Carlo Resort & Casino on Thursday night. She said, “My father is from Louisville too. That’s why you’re so nice.”  The actress and author wrote a book on Parkinson’s disease. Her 67-year-old father suffers from the illness. She wrote the book “I’ll Hold Your Hand so You Don’t Fall: – a child’s guide to Parkinson’s disease. She vowed to return and see the “Master Magician” show again with her eight-year-old Nico and 10-year-old Biaggio. Lance is a fan of Muhammad Ali. She is currently starring in a Las Vegas-based cable show “In My Corner.”

The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino was rockin’ Sunday night with two separate parties going on.  Inside Body English, Katy Perry’s ex and lead singer of Gym Class Heroes, Travis McCoy was filming for an upcoming show on MTV.  Travis and friends arrived around 12:30am and partied at one of the VIP nightclubs booths until almost 3am.  Just across the casino floor inside rock lounge, Wasted Space, Good Charlotte band member, Benji Madden was hosting a party for his and brother Joel Madden’s clothing line, DCMA.  The night before on Valentine’s Day Benji Madden and Katy Perry were seen canoodling inside Wasted Space following her private performance at the rock lounge

The Palms Casino Resort has garnered a strong reputation for attracting Hollywood’s most famous faces, and Friday night the property lured in DJ and record producer Benji Madden, Cleveland Browns quarterback Brady Quinn and renowned music manager Johnny Wright. Benji Madden, who considers N9NE Steakhouse as one of his favorite Las Vegas restaurants, arrived around 9 p.m. with four other people, including friend and Good Charlotte manager Tal Cooperman. 

For dinner, Madden indulged in a Diet Coke, a wedge salad and the bone-in filet complemented by broccoli gratin.  In his usual casual attire, he was dressed in jeans and a fashionable shirt.  At nearly the same time, Brady Quinn showed up, also with a party of four who sat at one of the restaurant’s largest banquets.  Quinn, dressed in a button-down gray dress shirt and jeans, was drinking Ketel One, sodas and shots of lemon drops.  Executive Chef Barry Dakake entertained the table by bringing out his special plate of mini shellfish.  Quinn also had the bone-in filet along with a few other sides.  

 A little before 10 p.m., another N9NE Steakhouse regular, Johnny Wright, arrived with his wife and a childhood friend.  There to celebrate Wright’s wife’s birthday, the party of three sat at a booth and started with rock shrimp and wontons.  For his main entrée, Wright enjoyed a bone-in filet with several sides.  Dressed in full Ralph Lauren gear (pullover and hat), Wright’s drink of choice for the evening was Grey Goose on the rocks while his wife sipped on Fiji water. 

Following his dinner at N9NE Steakhouse, Madden arrived at Rain Nightclub a little past midnight, to serve as the guest DJ.  He arrived with an entourage of eight.  Madden immediately went to the stage with his group and spun on the turntables until 3 a.m

NBA Player for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Corey Brewer, was spotted having a good time at Moon Nightclub inside The Palms Casino Resort last night. Joined by a small entourage of four, the group hung out at a VIP table where they enjoyed a bottle of Kettle One. Brewer was dressed casually in a gray long sleeve shirt, jeans and black shoes.
